Welcome to the start of your Journey with Kate Simmons Dance. For over 30 years KS has been offering Childrens Dance Classes to the North West of England with Experience and Qualified Teachers.

With many of our Teachers having been former Ballet Company Professionals and as well as appearing in the West End. There is a wealth of knowledge to pass on to the next generation.

Whether you have dreams of being on stage as a Ballerina or Competing in National Dance competition or simply looking for new creative challenges and styles of dance. Kate Simmons Dance will have the Dance Class for you.

Based in our state of the art studios that boast the biggest part time Dance Space in Warrington.

Kate Simmons Dance holds two dance examination sessions per year. From the age of 5 years old the children can begin to participate in dance exams. Once the children are accomplished and confident in their class work, they will be encouraged to enter into an exam. The children are entered into Cecchetti Ballet, Modern and Tap dance examinations which are all quality assured by the ISTD.

Children’s Ballet Classes: All children from age 3yrs upwards have the opportunity to perform in an annual dance production. Primary through to Standard 1 classes participate in a short production The Brindley Theatre, Runcorn, Cheshire. This allows even our youngest dance students to experience being “on stage” for the first time.

Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Commercial, Musical Theatre, Lyrical plus Strength and Flexibility and More!

Kate Simmons Dance is the perfect transition for Young Dancers who aspire to be Dancers when they grow up. Many Dancers have begun Dancing at the age of 3 with KS and gone on to professional careers in Ballet and West-End and Broadway productions. Young Dancers at Kate Simmons Dance also have the opportunity to Dance recreationally and enjoy participating in shows to enrich their development and physical fitness.

Once Dancers are 14/15 years of age they have opportunity to audition for our full time Performers Course, Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance with optional teaching DDE modules.

 

At Kate Simmons Dance the students enjoy excellent studio facilities. Lessons are taught in large spaces, fully equipped with mirrors, ballet barres and sprung Harlequin floors.
