What is Life Like as a Student of KS Dance
Finding that happy balance between dance training and life matters, is something that is really important to us for all of our students to have well balanced.
The pastoral care of the students at KS Dance is always at the forefront of our minds. The well-being of our dance students must come first in order for them to reach their true potential as a professional dancer. We have a saying at KS Dance …. “You are a human being first and a dancer second“
What does the college provide other than its high level of dance training and teaching?
The college provides not only the highest level of dance tuition, but also lectures in all subjects relevant to someone training for a career in the Performing Arts Industry.
We want our dancers to understand exactly what goes ‘hand in glove’ with being a ‘well rounded,’ quick thinking, employable dancer. Transferable skills, such as; Show reel creation, filming and editing, CV & Cover letter writing, Social media guidance, Budgeting and tax, Health and well-being, Injury prevention, Audition Technique and preparation and Great British Values to name but a few all enables our students to prepare themselves for a career in dance that is prosperous, long and unrestricted.
Students that attend KS Dance will often need to re-locate to live in the local area and nearby surrounds of where the college is based in Woolston, Warrington. WA1 4AW. North West UK
