The One Act ballet told the tale through the magic of live dance, music and emotion – a real celebration of artistry and talent.
An American in Paris
The light-hearted rendition of the famous musical was a nice change of pace for our audience, as the students utilized their impressive skill set of classical ballet, jazz, and character skills.
The Ugly Duckling
Our Junior School students have charmed the audience with their Ballet rendition of ‘The Ugly Duckling’. The production took flight and re-told the heartwarming tale of self-acceptance and kindness.
The performance showcased our passion for storytelling through the colourful costumes – from playful duckling and curious frogs, to elegant swans.
Go and Open the Door
The contemporary dance piece was inspired by ‘The Door’ by Miroslav Holub. It explored emotion and the use of one’s body. Our student’s investigated metaphors and symbolism through movement and took the audience with them on an investigation of stepping into the unknown, to widen one’s perspective and embrace the idea of change.
