International Summer School 2018

The KS Dance International Summer School will be held from 25th July – 1st August at our Studios in Warrington, North West England.

Our summer schools, in the past, have been renowned for preparing Dancers for vocational training, enhancing Dancer experience with Classical Repertoire and exposing individuals to new techniques.

Teachers on the KS Dance team for this year’s summer school have at least 30 years experience in professional Dance and Ballet as well all our faculty working with legendary Dancers and Choreographers including: Rudolph Nureyev, Sir Kenneth MacMillan, Frederick Ashton, Dame Beryl Grey, Dame Monica Mason.

This year’s special guest Coaches are Romany Pajdak and Dane Hurst. Romany is a current Professional Ballerina with The Royal Ballet and Dane is an award winning Contemporary Artist who was a previous Dancer with Rambert.

KS Dance Summer School 2018 also includes Masterclasses from Gillian Hurst and Kate Simmons as well Strength and Conditioning/Mobility Coaching with Rupert Wiltshire of Science in Dance.

Our Summer School also welcomes the teaching community to enhance their current qualifications in Cecchetti Classical Ballet with intensives for Licensiate, Fellowship and Diploma. Teachers are encouraged to attend the intensive and be entered into an exclusive exam session after the course in which they can gain these qualifications following intense teaching.

All our classes are delivered in our state of the art studios with live musicians. KS Dance is fortunate to have live pianists for the majority of its classes and our fantastic pianists will join us at the Summer School.

Students can expect to learn repertoire for solo performance, pas de deux and group performances as well as many other interactive sessions with an aim of sharing experience of a wide variety of Dance Styles.
