Post Graduate Success

We are delighted to share the news of our Post Graduate Chloe Horton, who has secured herself a short contract with Birmingham Royal Ballet, working with the company on BRB’s production of Cinderella this July 2021

Chloe has worked extremely hard to achieve her dream of dancing in one of the top UK Ballet Companies and will now after one of the most arduous and trying years for all young dancers in vocational training, get to fulfil her lifelong ambition.

This opportunity has been so welcomed by Chloe, as it was incredibly upsetting for her to not get the opportunity to perform on stage, in Sydney Australia 2020, competing as a Semi-finalist in the (CICB) Cecchetti International Classical Ballet competition due to the global pandemic.
To have the Lockdowns also take Chloe’s opportunity of performing in her final Vocational Show as the Lead Sylph, in La Sylphide after months and months of rehearsals and all the celebrations that come with a Graduation Ceremony, has been tough but Chloe never gave up on herself, her dreams, her teachers beliefs nor the Performing Arts Industry.

Chloe joined KS Dance for her 2nd Year of vocational training and has achieved so much in such a short space of time. Chloe won many prestigious Cecchetti Awards in Ballet, The Barbara Fewster Award and the Cyril Beaumont Scholarship. Chloe also danced in the new Advanced 2 Cecchetti Syllabus DVD.
To add to her successes, Chloe was a BBC Young Dancer Semi Finalist 2019 CICB, Sydney Australia Semi Finalist and our Choreographic Competition Winner 2019.
Chloe has danced the following lead roles;  The Cat in ‘Peter and the Wolf,’ Rosaline in ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ Belle in ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ Lead Sylph in ‘La Sylphide’ and the Principal role of Laura in her first professional contract, ‘Encounter’ produced by the newly formed Ballet North West company in March 2021,

Chloe is also the founder and business owner of the very popular bespoke chiffon ballet skirts company  BeeYouDesignsOfficial you can check them out on Instagram @beeyoudesignsofficial

We wish Chloe all the best in her dance career and congratulate her on her determination to successfully pave her own way through her dance training and into the Industry.
