PERFORM

KS Dancers perform in national theatres and at exhibitions throughout their 3 years of training with us.  We truly believe that the experience gained from dancing on many stages is so very valuable to the making of an employable dancer. Experience ensemble and corps de ballet roles and progress to soloist, lead and principal roles throughout the 3 years. Dance Training at KS places Performing at the top of its list!

Whether it be CYD?, CDMT, National Exhibition Centres or Major National Theatres, KS Dance Students will experience the full spectrum of audiences and venues.

CREATE

Dancers talents must be discovered and explored. At KS Dance we give our dancers the opportunity to realise their potential and get creative through creative lessons, workshops and choreographic competitions.

CONNECT

It is vital that a dancer enters the industry with excellent technique, confidence, self-belief and ambition. The right vocational college for you like KS Dance, will have a network of Classical Company Directors, Casting Agents, Commercial Company contacts, Contemporary contacts, Musical Directors and more, readily available to arm you with, via guest workshops, company classes and closed auditions. To be seen, a dancer must connect. To connect a dancer must perform.

LEARN

Dancers are encouraged to learn more than just the steps. We believe that a dancer must know how to approach each genre of dance with the knowledge of how to achieve immaculate technique. Through a good understanding of ones own personal management, dancers can therefore help to prevent injuries occurring within the body.

TOUR

Our Allegrodance Touring Company performs for 2 weeks up and down the country each year a different narrative Classical Ballet and Outstanding Showcase of Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre pieces and more in many schools, college and theatres up and down the country, including an interactive post performance workshop from the company dancers, reaching audience members of all ages and interests.

TEACH

Our reputation precedes us at KS Dance. We are known as a ‘triple threat’ Vocational College.

1) Our dancers are trained to the highest standards by the best teachers and guest artists that the UK has to offer.

2) KS Dance delivers a Level 6 in Professional Dance, validated by Trinity College, London.

3) Our 3 year course also offers a teaching qualification in Ballet, Modern and or Tap dance, which provides dancers with longevity of employment within the dance industry.

GRADUATE

A proud moment for each student, their family, all teachers and staff at KS Dance, is not only when one of our dancers successfully secures employment following an audition. But also during our much celebrated annual Prize Giving and Graduation Evening. Students are awarded their Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance validated by Trinity College London along with their Graduation Certificate from their 3 Year Course in Professional Dance Training at KS Dance.

Upon graduating and completing Dance Training at KS, students will be equipped with the skills, knowledge and experience to pursue their chosen career. We look forward to aiding every student on their journey to world of Professional Performance Arts.
