‘An American In Paris’ Synopsis

Gerry an American expatriate painter in post-WWII Paris. Struggling to find success in both art and love, his life is turned upside down when he meets and falls in love with Lise, with its straightforward story, gorgeous dance sequences, and beautiful, frequently melancholic Gershwin score.

‘Western Variations’

A fast paced ballet that celebrates the joy of dance using the incredibly unique music composed by Aaron Copland. His peers referred to him as “The Dean of American Composers” Our younger students of Kate Simmons Dance really capture the essence of this dynamic ballet.

We look forward to welcoming you all at the Brindley Theatre, Runcorn this April and enjoy an evening with you, your family, colleagues and friends.
